I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that it's October already. But here we are. The month of pumpkins and cute little witches in costume and ghosts. I'm not afraid of ghosts, but a good ghost tour might give me goosebumps. There are plenty of ghost tours to choose from in Minnesota, and here are a few.

1. Wabasha Street Caves

The Wabasha Street Caves in St. Paul are reputed to be haunted. As well as touring the caves, Wabasha Street Caves runs coach tours of spooky and haunted Twin Cities sights all year round. They add extra tours for Halloween.

2. Mounds Theatre in St. Paul

This theater in St. Paul has reported many ghost sightings and paranormal events. Ghost tours run every weekend, when the theater is darkened and guests are lead around in the gloom in the hope of spotting a ghost.

3. Landmark Center Gangster Tours

If you have a group of 10 or more, you can arrange a gangster tour with the Landmark Center. St. Paul was the center of gangster activity in the 1920s, the Landmark Center was the Federal Courthouse in those days, and the tour guides have plenty of gruesome and true stories of crime and punishment.

4. The Palmer House in Sauk Centre

How about spending a night in a haunted hotel? They say the Palmer House in Sauk Centre has a few spirits roaming the halls. Ashli Gerdes from our news department did a story on the Palmer House a few months ago. Check it out here.
