Country legend, George Strait has announced he will tour the US one more time before he hangs up the touring reigns. He's not going to stop making music, just stop doing major tours.

Please don't take this the wrong way, I adore George Strait. I have met him a few times, I've been to several of his concerts and I think he is one of the kindest men in country music. However, for me, he hasn't done a major tour since the 90s. I mean typically he will only play 15-20 dates on his US tour where other artists are playing upwards of 50.

So for George to say he's "cutting back" on his touring dates makes me chuckle a bit. During his announcement, George says he's not going to stop making music and he's not going to stop playing shows, they will just be limited after the final tour ends in two years.

So yes, you will be able to see George one more time before he hangs up the reigns. He's heading to Xcel Energy Center on February 15, 2013 with Martina McBride. Those tickets will go on sale soon.
