Garth Brooks is planning something very special for wife Trisha Yearwood and his fans at the 2018 CMA Awards. The country icon is set to debut his upcoming new single live during the ceremony on Nov. 14, and the special song is dedicated to Yearwood.

The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year revealed the news during his weekly Inside Studio G Facebook Live on Monday night (Nov. 5), calling the new song "the most beautiful thing I've ever heard for a female, or for someone that you love."

Brooks has not revealed the title of the song, though he teased fans with the initials STN. He personally refers to it as "Trisha's Song," and he says even she has not yet heard the song, and will be hearing it for the first time when he performs it at the CMAs. The legendary entertainer says he is taking bets on whether he can get through the performance without crying, and he jokes that Yearwood is "a little worried. She said, 'Should I bring my Kleenex?'"

The new single will arrive at country radio on Nov. 15, the day after the CMA Awards, and then roll out via Amazon shortly thereafter.

The news of Brooks' performance comes just weeks after Brooks said during a press conference that he would probably not perform at the 2018 CMA Awards unless producers would allow him to debut the new song live during the broadcast.

He sang the praises of the two men who co-wrote the song at that press event. "Where it ends up, you sit there and you're just stunned; you're just quiet," he said. "These two guys hit it right on the head. I'm stunned and very lucky to get to record this song."

During his Facebook Live, Brooks also announced that tickets for his upcoming stadium dates in St. Louis and Glendale, Ariz., will go on sale on Nov. 16. Those dates are part of a three-year tour that will see him performing in 10-12 stadiums each year. He also answered a wide range of fan questions about new music coming from Yearwood, whether the couple might eventually record a duets album together and more.
