ST. CLOUD -- Four Cathedral High School students will be on their way to Chicago this weekend (Jan. 26th)  to audition for the well-known television show, 'America's Got Talent Season Eight.'

Students; Bryce Johnson, Chris Hornung, Tom Imhote and Joe Weir met in their concert choir class and decided to form an acca pella group called, The Ratio.

Since they formed this past November, they have performed cover songs that they have posted on their Youtube page.

A talent scout for the show, 'America's Got Talent' saw their cover of, "Little Things" by One Direction and invited The Ratio to audition for the show.

Johnson says they started the band as a way to have fun, but it quickly grew into something more.

The group plans on performing the song, "Beautiful Girls" by singer Sean Kingston.

If the group progresses in the competition their next step will be to perform in front of celebrity judges; Howard Stern, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel.

We will continue to keep you updated as the group progresses.
