Foley Wrestling Team Advance to State Semi-Finals

ST. PAUL -- The Foley wrestling team moves one step closer to a state title after winning their quarter final match-up Thursday morning.

The fourth seeding Falcons defeated the fifth seeded Perham Yellowjackets 32 to 23 at the Xcel Energy Center.

Junior Saylor Schmit and heavy weight Mitch Trigg scored the final seven points to capture the victory.

Foley will now face top seeded Kasson-Mantorville (64-3) in the semi-finals starting at 1:00 p.m.
