Five Cool Websites to Visit Now

Yesterday, while I was cruising the web looking for cool stuff to read, I stumbled on a list of Awesome Websites You Never Knew Existed. I visited them all and extracted the coolest ones for you. 

In no particular order, here they are:

Drinkify

Drinkify tells you what you should be drinking depending on what you’re listening to. For example, if you’re listening to Eric Church, Drinkify says you should be drinking a Miller High Life. If you’re listening to Patsy Cline, you should be drinking one ounce of Jack Daniels on the rocks, garnished with a cucumber. Dolly Parton calls for a wine cooler and a Tim McGraw album needs 6 ounces of Southern Comfort over ice.

The world is sometimes a cold and cruel place. Whether you had a nightmare of a commute, your boss is riding you to work harder even though you’re doing the best you can or your kids are driving you nuts, go to The Nicest Place on the Internet and get a hug. You get unlimited hugs and it’s very nice.

Rainy Mood

Do you have annoying coworkers who chew loudly, talk to themselves or are on loud conference calls all day? Drown them out with Rainy Mood. It’s a website where you just listen to a gentle thunderstorm for hours on end. Be careful though. If you’re like me and you love falling asleep during thunderstorms, this could relax you too much.

Do Nothing for Two Minutes

Sometimes you just need to space out and take a break. Do Nothing for Two Minutes challenges you to do just that. If you touch your keyboard or move your mouse, you get a big, red FAIL message on your screen and the timer starts over.

Akinator Web Genie

Akinator Web Genie is fun, safe for kids and even on mobile so you can play it waiting in the doctor’s office. It’s just like 20 questions, only with a genie. It’s a fun waste of time and he can usually guess who you’re thinking of.
