The National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch for tomorrow for a large part of Central Minnesota including Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Morrison, Pope, and Mille Lacs counties. Strong winds, low humidities, and dry conditions will create a critical fire situation.

In addition to the weather conditions expected for tomorrow, the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has listed fire danger in our area as 'Extremely High,' meaning that fires will start very easily and spread very rapidly.

Burning permits are currently not being issued across most counties in our area.
