Bullying has become a nationwide problem but some fifth grade boys in Massachusetts are taking a stand in honor of the team's water coach and their friend, Danny Keefe.

Danny is six years old and in first grade.  He suffered a brain hemorrhage when he was born and was expected to have difficulties his entire life.  He's like many children his age, except that he does have some problems with his speech and he loves to wear a suit and tie.

Some of his schoolmates decided to pick on him but his fifth grade football friends wouldn't have it.  They put together 'Danny Appreciation Day,' where all 45 boys dressed up in a suit and tie, just like Danny.

In my opinion, this is an amazing display of friendship, camaraderie and standing up for what's right.  Clearly, Danny has made a big enough impression on these boys for them to stand up to the cowards that made fun of them.  So often we hear about bad things that happens in schools -- this is a breath of fresh air indeed!

Check out the video the boys did on standing up for Danny -- it might make you tear up a bit.
