Fall Colors Starting To Show Near Upsala [Photos]

I had to take a trip home to Long Prairie last night, and took the route through Upsala. Around Cedar Lake the Fall colors are starting to show! Minnesota's fall color map is currently showing that the colors are at about 50-75% full in Northern Minnesota, and about 25-50% here in the St. Cloud Area.

Compared to last year, St. Cloud is right on target. But if we compare our Fall colors to 2016, we are behind! In Sept. 28th, 2016, Central Minnesota was at 75-100% peak colors! How crazy is that!

According to the DNR website, we should be seeing peak colors anytime from right now to early October. So the tops of those trees can go from green to red and yellow any time now!
