Microsoft has issued a warning, announcing that a security flaw has been found in all editions of their Windows Explorer web browser; versions 6 through 11 -- allowing hackers to take control of your computer. Experts advise you avoid using Explorer until Microsoft releases a patch, expected in mid-May.

Bad news for Windows XP users; any Microsoft fix won't protect you. Microsoft announced last month it was discontinuing support for the XP operating system.

Your best bet? Start using a different browser such as Mozilla's Firefox or Google's Chrome. Both are free downloads.
