Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer reportedly underwent emergency eye surgery last night, and the procedure could force him to miss tonight's game against the Dallas Cowboys.

It's Zimmer's third procedure on his eye this month -- the first coming back on November first for a torn retina.

The Vikings are expected to update the situation this morning, but if Zimmer is unable to go the Vikes could lean on one of two former head coaches on the staff -- offensive coordinator Pat Shurmer or offensive line coach Tony Sparano.

Get well soon Coach. Skol Vikings!
