Easter Lilies Are Pretty, But Toxic To Cats

I love Easter Lilies! But we never have them in our home, because our furry family members would eat them. And that would not be good. 

If you have cats, please be aware that these beautiful flowers are toxic to felines. If Fluffy decides to chew on a lily, it can cause kidney disease and even death.

Contact your veterinarian right away if your cat shows signs of poisoning. Vomiting and depression usually sets in within a couple of hours.

Your best bet? Admire the Easter Lilies (and any other lilies) from afar like we do. It's just safer that way.
