***Update*** I have just been told that my bunny buns look nothing like bunnies. Some have even said that my (I thought, adorable) little buns are obscene (gasp!) What do you see - bunnies or something I shouldn't be serving to Grandma?

Do you need to bring something to the Easter meal this weekend? Blow them away with your adorable bunny buns!

These buns are just any yeast dough bread recipe (here's a good one) shaped to look like bunnies. Or, if you don't want to mix up some dough, buy the frozen stuff at the grocery store. Even frozen pizza dough will work and will give you a great bread stick-like texture.

Take a pool ball-sized piece of dough and roll it on the counter into a long snake-like rope with the two ends slightly pointed. Fold the rope in half and twist it around itself twice. Pull the two ends apart at the top for ears and stick a tiny ball of dough on your rabbit's butt for a tail.

Let the dough rise for about 30 minutes then bake in a 350 degree oven till lightly browned. About 20 minutes but it will depend on the size of your bunnies.

So, now you've got your bunny buns, your chocolate bunny and next - we'll be sculpting bunnies from mashed potatoes...or not.
