The Duluth Huskies beat the Rox 2-1 in a battle of the top two teams in the North Division standings Thursday night at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud. The Rox now lead Duluth by just 1.5 games in the standings.

Reese Gregory pitched well for St. Cloud but did not pick up the win after allowing two runs on six hits over seven-plus innings of work. Marcus Carson was 2-4 with a triple and a run scored.

The Rox play in Duluth Friday night before coming home for a weekend series with the Eau Claire Express. Friday's game starts at 6:05 on AM 1390 The Fan.
