Dogs Staying Cool In The Heat

Hey, if the paws fit, that's all that matters. Dogs absorb and release heat through their paws, so keep 'em cool!

Find a fountain. Your pup might enjoy it as much as you do!

Put in a backyard pool! Doesn't have to be fancy, just wet.

Sleeping in front of the fan isn't just for humans.

Make sure your pooches always have access to shade when they're outside!

Dogs love to go for walks, but remember, if the pavement is too hot for your bare feet, it's too hot for their paws!  Don't take your dog to festivals and other events where shade is scarce.

This might be a little extreme, but if your furry kid jumps in the fridge when you open it, you know it's hot outside.
