Ok, I admit I was a little worried about the first weigh-in.  I really thought I hadn't done enough to lose any weight in the past week.I was making excuses (always a bad sign) that I was feeling a little crappy, I just didn't have a lot of energy.  So needless to say I got a little off my routine.

However, I did drop a couple pounds!   I have to give credit to the exercise plan my wife have been doing.  We started a month ago with Maximized Living and their Max T3 routine that is a form of surge training.  It's high intensity for a short amount of time and the goal is to boost your ability to burn fat, even when you're not working out, and so far it seems to be working.

We've also laid off the sugar and carbs too, that's made a big difference as well.  So even though I had a bad week of exercise and diet I was able to lose a little anyway.  We'll see how things progress, I'm sure we'll hit a little sticking point but remaining positive and keeping consistent is the key.
