I'm just a regular Minnesota guy that grew up on the north-side of the Cities (Fridley), spent some quality time at the U of M, chill on the weekends at the family cabin near Duluth, bleed Vikings purple, and miss the North Stars. I have a short attention span; and enjoy Eric Church, Johnny Cash, Zac Brown, Kid Rock, Pink Floyd, 80s hair bands, coffee, beer, scotch, and long sunset walks on the beach. (One of those isn't true.) I'm a two-time cancer survivor now (Colorectal 2002, Kidney 2014), and know that life is damn short -- so by all means we should be playing as hard and as often as we can
Born and raised in the Twin Cities, working around the Midwest in radio for over 20 years. In the summer you’ll likely find me riding motorcycle with my wife Ali. In the winter you won’t see me unless you sneak into my cave, I hate the cold. What I DO enjoy is warm weather, my family (including our labs), riding motorcycle, firing up the grill, and thanking our military service members for our freedom. I love music, especially anything from the 80s!
Born and raised in Edina, Minnesota, I have spent over 50 years in the radio biz. First job was at KTRF Radio Thief River Falls, MN. I have also worked in Brainerd and the Twin Cities at KANO/KTWN and KRSI and worked twice in the St. Cloud Radio market spanning about 30 years. I can truly say radio has been my window on the world. I am the father of a son and daughter and have two beautiful granddaughters. In my spare time I enjoy gardening and spending time with family
Sam Alex has worked for country stations across the nation and never misses his favorite acts when they come to town. He's been on red carpets for many different awards shows and interviewed some of your favorite celebrities, like Will Ferrell and Taylor Swift. Originally from Chicago, Sam now lives in Nashville, where he hosts the Taste of Country Nights radio show, a syndicated night show which airs on more than 75 stations nationwide. If you ever see him on lower Broadway, get him a pina colada and some BBQ chicken pizza
My name is Ava Lynn, and I have been in radio broadcasting since 2012! I graduated from Brown College with my degree in radio broadcasting, and have lived in many states to follow my passion. However, I am a Minnesota girl, and very happy to be broadcasting in St. Cloud! Things that interest me are - exercise, fitness, health, music, hunting, fishing, literature, and basically anything that will get me outside! I love the four seasons in Minnesota, and enjoy taking my dog Piper with me on hikes and adventures
I’m 26 years young and the oldest of five kids in my family. I went to Apollo High School and graduated from St. Cloud State University with a degree in broadcast journalism. When I told my parents that I wanted to be in radio, I don’t think they were surprised. My mom swears that I started talking when I was six months old and never stopped (sure I did mom). I love everything about media. For that reason, I went to school for TV journalism, worked as a news reporter for a few years and hosted weekend shows on two of our sister stations
Central Minnesota girl, born and raised! Go LPGE Thunder! I graduated from Brown College in Mendota Heights in 2015 and have been working in the radio industry ever since!
