Disney Channel Wants to Reboot ‘Boy Meets World’

Enough said. Well maybe I could add a 'heck yeah!' to that. 'Boy Meets World' was one of my favorite shows growing up, Cory and Topanga were practically part of my family. Disney isn't planing to remake the 90's hit show, they want to continue it - so kind of like a sequel.

The show ran for seven seasons from 1993 - 2000. In the final season of the show Cory and Topanga finally tie the knot and begin their life together. Disney wants to pick up the new show a few years down the road, and center it around Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga's (Danielle Fishel) pre-teen daughter.

Offers have been made to Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel to return to play Cory and Topanga as parents in their 30's, no word on whether or not they have accepted the offer, or if Disney will ask any of the other original cast members to return.

I really hope Disney pulls this off, this is one sequel I am actually excited about!
