Dierks Bentley‘s wife, Cassidy Black, had an adorable team cheering her on when she ran the Boston Marathon on Monday (April 17).

The country star shared two sweet pictures to Instagram on Monday showing his family’s support for her Boston Marathon run, which Black undertook to support Safe Haven, a family homeless shelter in Nashville. She finished the run in three hours and 26 minutes, averaging a 7:52 per mile pace, according to her proud husband. The picture above shows Bentley and the couple’s three kids decked out in shirts that read, “Wife Runs” and “Mom Runs,” and Bentley captioned the photo, “Here we go @cassrunsboston17! Your @bostonmarathon pit crew is ready to cheer you on! number one fans. CRUSH IT #beboston.”

He posted again after the race, this time depicting his kids all smothering their mom in a group hug after she completed her run.

Black first ran the Boston Marathon in 2014, the year after the marathon bombing. She became involved with Safe Haven after Bentley featured a woman named Amy in his video for “Riser,” who had once been a homeless mother and overcame her situation. When Black decided to run the marathon again, she knew she wanted her run to support a worthwhile cause.

“Safe Haven keeps families who are homeless together, provides them with shelter and eventually permanent housing along with the therapy, support and training needed to gain self-sufficiency and rebuild their lives,” she writes on her fundraising page. “My family has been involved with them for a few years and I’ve seen up close the incredibly important, desperately needed, inspiring work they do and I’m thrilled to be running in their honor and in honor of present and future families who need Safe Haven.”

Black’s efforts raised $23,190 for Safe Haven. For more information about the shelter, visit safehaven.org.
