Did You Know? – Shania Twain

She was born Eileen Regina Edwards.

Shania began singing in clubs at the age of eight. Her parents would often wake her up at 1 am. to play the last call at the clubs.

She adopted the name Shania, which means "I'm on my way" in the Ojibwa Indian language.

At age 22, she begun raising her three teenage siblings after her parents were killed in a car accident.

She recently married businessman Frederic Thiebaud.
