Last night a fellow Minnesotan appeared on Wheel of Fortune. David Avelsgard from Sebeka had been on the program before and was making his second appearance on the show. What was neat about his appearance this time is that he talked to the show's announcer Jim Thornton rather than tell a story.

I've never had any dreams of being on a national game show, I'd freeze when they would ask me a question, or fumble horribly over my words and say something embarrassing.

What game show would you want to be on? Hopefully, if you find yourself on a game show you end up like our pal David from Sebeka. David not only won big his first time on the 'Wheel', but last night also wasn't too bad either.

A Wheel of Fortune website stated that David was back on the show after appearing on a show in 2023. During that previous show, there was a scoring error with a prize that was won, and that is why we saw David back on Wheel of Fortune a little less than a year after his June 2023 appearance.

David did just fine in last night's episode, he solved two puzzles, got a toss-up puzzle correct, and walked away with $7,650. Not bad for 20 minutes of work on national television.

The first time David appeared on Wheel of Fortune was in June of 2023 while he was attending Minnesota State Moorhead, on that show David won more than $14,000 in cash and prizes, which included a trip to Mexico.
