I got quite a bit of my Christmas shopping done over the past week, but there is a little bit of a problem. A couple of the gifts I bought won't really be a surprise. Here's the story. :et me know what you think.

One gift was kinda unavoidable, it was tickets to an event and I wanted to make sure that person wouldn't make other plans for the evening. The other gift was something I needed a size for so I just straight up asked the gift recipient what size they needed.

If the roles were reversed I would much rather have someone ask me what size I need so I don't have to be troubled with returning something for the right size. But on the other hand, there is no surprise when opening the gift. I am torn! Did I do the right thing? Should I get them another gift just so there is an element of surprise? Let me know in the poll!
