Dick Clark’s Very First New Year’s Eve Count Down [VIDEO]

1973 was the inaugural year for Dick Clark to count down to the New Year. In this video, you'll notice how different things were in the early years. Not much pomp and circumstance. Just a simple count down. Even Time's Square looks rather boring compared to today. But we always knew that Dick Clark would help us ring in the New Year and he did so up until 2004 when he suffered a stroke. Thanks for the memories...and so long, for now.
