Dan + Shay’s Dan Smyers Gets Engaged

There are now two weddings in Dan + Shay's future: Dan Smyers popped the question to his longtime girlfriend Abby Law -- and she said yes!

Smyers and Law are on vacation together in Hawaii, and on Friday afternoon (Nov. 18), both shared photos on Instagram announcing the happy news.

"There are few words to fully convey this feeling of complete happiness," Law writes. "Daniel Smyers, knowing and loving you has been the most rewarding part of my life thus far, and continuing our journey together as your wife will be an honor. I love you so much my heart could explode!!!"

Smyers' duo partner, Shay Mooney, proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Hannah Billingsley, in early August. At that time, Smyers admitted that "everyone. Everyone. Especially [Law]" then started asking him when he'd be getting down on one knee.

"It’ll happen," he told Taste of Country later that month. "It’s only a matter of time.”

In addition to having two weddings to plan for, Smyers, Mooney and their fiancees also have a baby shower to throw: Mooney and Billingsley are expecting a child together, good news that they shared in early October.

The year 2017 will be a busy one for Dan + Shay: In addition to the goings-on in their personal lives, the guys will also begin the year on the road. They recently announced a new string of dates on their Obsessed Tour, which will run February-April.

Dan + Shay’s current single is “How Not To.” They released the song to radio in September.
