Donna Fargo was born Yvonne Vaughan on November 10th, 1945 in Mount Airy, North Carolina.  It must be humbling for her to have been honored in her hometown of Mt.  Airywith with a section of highway named after her.

She taught high school English in Covina, California, while working local clubs as Donna Fargo.  She quit teaching in June of 1972. Then, in 1979 Fargo was stricken with multiple sclerosis.
