In the fall, I always want to have something satisfying, warm and tasty. This is my own recipe for my fall homemade veggie soup. I always make enough to eat on for a couple days, plus I put some away in the freezer for my next cold, chilly fall or winter day. It's great for those days that your family has a sore throat, or if they are feeling cold and achy. Serve them up some soup with LOVE in the ingredients. :-)

Ingredients

Choose veggies that you love. This particular recipe was made with:

  • 2 large yellow onions chopped up
  • 1 fresh cabbage chopped up
  • 3 cups of chopped fresh carrots
  • 1 32 oz can of green beans
  • 1 carton beef broth
  • 1 32 oz can of tomatoe sauce
  • Hamburger 1 to 2 pounds
  • Salt to taste

On stove, add tomato sauce and beef broth to a large sauce pan on high. While heating up tomato broth mixture, fry up ground hamburger. When browned, drain and add to broth mixture.

Chop up onions, carrots and cabbage and add to mixture. Add green beans. Salt to taste.

Let  simmer until cabbage is tender. Serve and enjoy.  I usually put some up in the freezer for future use. Easy to heat and eat.
