You think it's cold in Minnesota this morning? You should have been in East Antartica in August of 2010 when the coldest temperature ever on Earth was recorded. Scientists say that the temperature that day was equivalent to a nice summer day on Mars.

In August of 2010, the temperature dropped to a bone-crushing 135.8 degrees below zero Fahrenheit. Sure hope there wasn't a breeze. The second coldest mark was set in July of 2013 when it dropped to -135.3˚ in the same area.

So if you think it's cold out in Minnesota, remember that it could be worse.

Suck it up buttercup. :)
