First it's a fresh coat of snow, next it's a week that will feel a whole lot like mid-winter across the area -- with temps dropping below zero overnight, and highs struggling to find 10˚ on the thermometer. (And more snow possible at the end of the week.)

From the National Weather Service this morning: Snow will come to an end across the area today, with most locations seeing things taper off to flurries this morning. Otherwise, it looks to be a cold week. Some light snow is possible Monday as an Arctic cold front moves through the area. There are indications that another storm could bring accumulating snow to the region at the end of the week, but it is too soon to have confidence in the forecast details for that system.
