Check Out Where In Central Minnesota I Went Yesterday

I'm not a very creative person but I have always wanted to be one. Yesterday I went to Art As You Like It with our sister station WJON.

They are working on a series called "Fun Friday" that airs every Friday. It highlights the fun activities available in central Minnesota.

For my project, I made a canvas painting of a flower. It surprisingly turned out really well (in my opinion). It actually looks like a flower. I think I'm going to hang it up in my kitchen.

Art As You Like It hosts painting parties every Tuesday night at Brother's Bar and Grill. You clearly do not have to have any art skills if you want to attend the event. If I can do it, you can do it.

Isaac from WJON ended up doing a glass cutting project. His project consisted of cutting pieces of glass and fitting them into the shape that he wanted the project to be. He decided he wanted to make a piece sign.

Jesse from 103.7 The Loon painted his own beer growler. He started by picking his paint colors and painting the growler with a base coat. Once that dried he was able to add in some designs using stencil patterns. He chose to put two skulls on his growler. He's excited to pick his piece up next week once it's fired in the kiln.

The three of us had a blast.
