TIME has compiled their list and one Minnesota city has cracked the Top 10.

Before moving to Monticello, my family lived in Minnetonka so I'm pretty familiar with the area.  There's no doubt it's beautiful which is why I'm not surprised that Chanhassen made TIME's list of best places to live.

Apex, North Carolina took the top spot while Chanhassen came in at #7.  One big reason the town made the Top 10 is because it's close to Minneapolis but still has a suburban feel to it.  On top of that, there's a lot to do there -- take in a show at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater or check out the plants/trees at the Arboretum.  Parks are abundant and homes are affordable.

Other Minnesota cities that made the list include Rosemount and Edina.
