Snow On the Way Later in the Week
The National Weather Service says we could see a few inches of snow across Central Minnesota Wednesday night and Thursday -- along with moderating temperatures, but they won't last long as we head back to the deep freeze to ring in the new year.
Merry (Coldest) Christmas (in 20 Years)
Christmas hasn't been this cold in St. Cloud in 20 years -- and this year the temperatures will be more of the same all the way to the New Year. Maybe this time around a lump of coal or two wouldn't be the worst thing you could get in your stocking.
Winter Weather Advisory
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect through 4:00 AM Tuesday morning for most of Central Minnesota .
Increased Fire Danger for Central Minnesota Today
Low humidities and strong winds in the forecast, combined with dry vegetation across Central Minnesota has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Red Flag Warning in effect today through 5 PM for much of the area including Stearns County.
