The National Weather Service has issued Winter Storm and Blizzard Watches for portions of Central Minnesota including Stearns County and St. Cloud, in effect from 6 AM Friday morning through Friday evening. Falling temps, strong winds, and 4-10" of snow could cause travel difficulties on Friday.
The National Weather Service says their confidence is growing for the possibility of accumulating snow Friday into Saturday for the St. Cloud area. What will begin as rain on Thursday night is expected to change to all snow by Friday night, with wind and colder temperatures.
