Dangerous Wind Chills Today through Tomorrow

Fresh snow across the area will be followed by a blast of Arctic air today and tomorrow, bringing the coldest temperatures to the area in three years along with dangerous wind chills -- prompting the National Weather Service to issue a Wind Chill Warning for much of Minnesota.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the southern half of Minnesota including Stearns, Benton, and Sherburne Counties -- in effect from Noon today through Noon tomorrow. A Wind Chill Warning is in effect from Noon tomorrow through Noon Sunday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from Noon Friday though 6 PM Saturday for portions of Central Minnesota including Stearns, Benton, and Sherburne Counties -- where 4 to 7 inches of snow is now expected.
