This Saturday, February 12 from 12:00-3:00pm take part in a benefit fishing contest on Cedar Lake in Annandale. The benefit is in memory of Jeff Colbenson, a local man who lost his life just 6 days before he was to be married.

Jeff and his bride to be, Beth Blizil, have a son, Carter, who is a year-and-a-half. All donations and proceeds will be put into the "Catch for Colbenson" Fund, going directly to Jeff's fiancée Beth and son Carter.

Tickets are $5 and will be sold at Schroeder Park Access on the day of the event. Prizes (really good ones) will be awarded for the largest fish and door prizes will be given away all day on the lake.

The Lions Club will have a stand on the lake selling burgers, hot dogs and hot chocolate. Following the contest there will be a meal at the Maple Lake Legion with pulled pork sandwiches with chips, pickle and a bar or cookie. There will also be hot dogs for the kids.
