I'VE CAT PROOFED MY CHRISTMAS TREE & GIFTS

Cats....they love paper bags, catnip and wrapping paper. My 13 year old cat, Mr. Bean, also loves to help me pay my bills. Quite often I find my car payment ripped into a million pieces. Try explaining that to your loan company. "The Cat ate my paper."

Mr. Bean has been known to climb the Christmas tree; He's also known for shredding and eating wrapping paper....OFF of wrapped gifts.  NOTE TO SELF: anything wrapped under the tree will be unwrapped and exposed before Christmas.

CAT PROOFING YOUR HOLIDAY

I have discovered a secret that works. If you will take your wrapping paper leftovers and scatter them around the perimeter of the tree; around the presents, it will keep your cat super busy. It has worked for two weeks! Mr. Bean has been playing with that paper around the tree and he's having a blast.  There's so much wrapping paper that moves and wiggles all over the floor; why would he want to rip it off of a boring old gift? Try it! It works at my house.

PAPER OR PLASTIC?  PAPER PLEASE

The next time you go to the grocery store and they ask you if you want paper or plastic bags, ask for paper. Mr. Bean loves it when I bring home a fresh paper grocery bag. He climbs inside and rips it apart from the inside out.  The cheapest and most entertaining cat toy on the planet...right from your local grocery.
