There is no one in the world with the voice or the style of Carrie Underwood, but it’s the country star’s heart that will be recognized when she receives the Hero Award at the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards this month.

According to a statement, the award will recognize Underwood for her humanitarian efforts and dedication to a number of charities such as Danita’s Children, C.A.T.S. and a variety of groups within her hometown of Checotah, Okla.

At the same awards show, Underwood will take the stage with recent collaborator Ludacris to perform “The Champion,” her hit single that debuted earlier this year at the Super Bowl and was also used as a power anthem to the Winter Olympics.

Indeed, Underwood seems to be at her most powerful as of late, as she not only continues to recuperate from her fall back in November but is preparing for the release of her new album Cry Pretty this September.

“At this point in my career, I feel stronger and more creative than ever,” Underwood said in a press release about the new album. “I think you can hear that in this new album. It’s emotional, it’s soulful, it’s real, and we also have some fun on there too. I hope everyone loves it as much as I have loved making it.”

Want to catch Underwood receive her award and rock the stage with her performance? The RDMAs will take place June 22 in California, and will air on the Disney Channel the very next day, June 23, at 8PM ET.
