Can You Take a Ballot-Selfie in Minnesota?
Justin Timberlake got into some hot water in Tennessee yesterday for taking a selfie while he was voting (a no-no in TN). What are the rules in Minnesota and Wisconsin? 'Selfie with Care' using these guidelines while you vote.
Here in Minnesota, ballot-selfies and selfies-while-voting are legal as long as they do not show any other person at the polling place.
Across the St. Croix in Wisconsin, state law prohibits sharing photos of ballots.
In Tennessee, where Timberlake cast his ballot, voters are not allowed to take photos or videos while in polling places. Tennessee official are letting it slide this time.
