Blake Shelton rounds out a panel of four judges on “The Voice” that includes singers Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, and Adam Levine from Maroon 5. NBC calls the four a “Dream Team of music coaches”.

Despite numerous singing competitions already on the air, NBC says their remake of the hit show from Holland, which beat "American Idol" and "X-Factor" in that country is different. In addition to the big names coaching the contestants, those big names will be blindfolded.

Contestants will audition to the judge’s backs.  The four judges will select singers to mentor based solely on vocal ability. Each judge/coach then has a team throughout the completion - their top contestant will compete in the finale for the grand prize of a recording contract and $100,000.

Carson Daly will be the show's host and the series premieres April 26 on NBC.
