Buying A Bike Is Harder Than I Thought

My first bike looked something like this, except it was gold. And maybe had a few tassles hanging from the handlebars. I'm not sure. Then it was a white John Deere 10-speed. I won't tell you how long ago that was, but I'm ready for another bike.

I've been thinking about buying a bike for months. I've researched the best bikes, I've looked at bikes, I've even taken my sisters bike for a ride just to make sure I really want one. And I do. But the good ones are so darn expensive! When did they start selling bikes for $300?

I don't need all the bells and whistles. Nothing fancy. Maybe some handlebar brakes, but other than that, just your basic bicycle. Oh, and a really comfortable seat for this old and ample behind. However, for $300, I might just keep walking.
