Butler-Less Timberwolves Beat Nets 120-113 Monday
The Minnesota Timberwolves (5-9) beat the visiting New Jersey Nets 120-113 Monday night at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
It's the first win for the Timberwolves following their 0-5 West Coast road trip, losing to the Warriors, Trail Blazers, Clippers, Lakers, and Kings. It was also Minnesota's first game since trading Jimmy Butler to Philadelphia.
Karl Anthony-Towns led Minnesota in scoring Friday night with 25 points, 21 rebounds, and 3 assists. Jeff Teague added 24, and Derrick Rose scored 23.
D'Angelo Russell led the Nets with 31 points.
