When my friend and former co-worker, Brian McKay put this video on Facebook yesterday, my first thought was: I love his zest for life!

Brian inspires me without even knowing it. He hops in the car and takes road trips to visit old friends. He takes dance classes to try something new. He explores new places, tries new restaurants, and sings in front of huge crowds of people. He is fearless, he loves people (and his cat Champers) and he's always kind. And when I worked with Brian in Allentown, I took all of that for granted. So I apologize to Brian for not realizing then, what an amazing soul he really is.

And he can sing! Thanks for sharing this little video with us, Brian!

I asked Brian to give me a little back story on this video:

No problem, well where do I begin..first up about Joe Negri..he is a Pittsburgh institution and a "Mr. Rogers icon!!!" Here's the link to his website and go to his "about page".... I actually emailed Joe the week before to make sure he was performing that day. I never knew him personally before that time. Got there Friday afternoon and he was there at the lobby of the Omni Wm Penn playing jazz guitar. He was amazing, even did a "Mr Rogers medley." After his first set, I introduced myself, told him I sing and he invited me sing in the next set. This was unplanned!!!!. I will say this, if you ever go to Pittsburgh..you've got to see him live..the way he and the pianist played off each other was unbelievable.
