ST. CLOUD - One man has been arrested after a drive-by shooting injured one in south St. Cloud on Saturday.

St. Cloud Police say a 23-year-old man from St. Cloud was shot and was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Officers stopped a vehicle shortly after the shooting in the 1700 block of University Drive Southeast. 19-year-old Jonathan Hanson was arrested for being the alleged driver of the vehicle involved in the shooting. Hanson is being held in the Stearns County Jail pending charges of aiding in a drive-by shooting.

Police say that shots were fired at about 11:30 a.m.  in the 1100 block of 9th Avenue South and the 1400 block of 9th Avenue South.

Investigators are still using search warrants relating to the active investigation.

An initial investigation leads officers to think this wasn't a random incident.

9th Avenue South from 11th Street South to 14th Street South was shut down by Police for an unknown period of time. The Talahi Care Center was also in lockdown for a short period of time during the felony traffic stop.
