Mother Nature's one-two punch has opened with a round of snow across the area, to be followed closely by the coldest temperatures so far this season. The snow can be expected to taper off tonight; before the mercury takes a nosedive, with temps falling into the single digits overnight -- and staying there all day tomorrow.

Arctic air will continue to pour into Central Minnesota, with highs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday struggling to climb above zero, and low temps in the negative teens all three nights -- with a chance of snow returning on Sunday.
