Monday (April 30) marks the beginning of the semifinals for NBC’s hit singing show ‘The Voice.’ The music-packed show will feature not only solo performances from the remaining eight contestants, but also one group performance — a joint show by Team Blake (Shelton) and Team Christina (Aguilera), as well as one by Teams Adam (Levine) and Cee Lo (Green) together.

Shelton’s team, with Aguilera’s beside them, will be taking a bite out of Lady Gaga‘s ‘The Edge of Glory,’ but perhaps the most exciting part of the upcoming episode will be that the country crooner is debuting his new single ‘Over.’

Though Team Blake will be taking on a pop song with the Gaga cover, it shouldn’t be a disadvantage since he no longer has any country performers on his team after letting go of the bubbly RaeLynn. Still standing on Shelton’s side are Erin Willett and Jermaine Paul, who will have to battle one another now for the top spot on the team. After the remaining eight performers sing their hearts out Monday, only four will remain past Tuesday’s elimination.

The elimination won’t be a total downer, though. While each coach will have to say goodbye to one team member, thus cutting their teams in half, the show will also include killer performances matching season one’s top three finalists with some of the biggest names in the music business.

Team Blake’s Dia Frampton will offer up her new single ‘Don’t Kick the Chair’ featuring Kid Cudi, while Vicci Martinez will sing ‘Come Along’ with her former coach Cee Lo Green, and Team Christina’s season one finalist Beverly McClellan will take the stage with Cyndi Lauper to perform the star’s hit ‘Money Changes Everything.’

And of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without a showdown from last season’s winner Javier Colon, who will be bringing it with his new single ‘A Drop in the Ocean’ from his record ‘Come Through for You.’

But first, catch all the action — including the debut of Shelton’s ‘Over’ from the 2011 hit album ‘Red River Blue’ — on ‘The Voice’ on NBC at 8PM ET on Monday.
