This year the Benton County Fair celebrates its 100th Birthday with more live music this year including a familiar name from the 90s and a few surprises. The activities kick off on Tuesday, July 31 in Sauk Rapids.

The Benton County Fair has increased the size of the stage area at the beer garden which will allow more people to get a better view of the stage as well as not feeling so tight in that area. Performances this year include local favorites Hairball, Sweet Siren, Diamondback, Chaser and national recording artist Little Texas.

This year's Military Day will be held on Sunday, August 5 beginning at Noon. All military personnel and families are invited to attend a free appreciation concert and tribute with Paulette Carlson.

Another feature of this year's Benton County Fair is the annual Talent Show. This year's talent show will be held on Thursday, August 2 and Friday, August 3 with the finals being held on Saturday, August 4 at 7pm each night at the Cottonwood stage. I will be hosting this year's talent show once again and our judges will be looking for some incredible talent to send to the Minnesota State Fair to represent Benton County.

Each night of the fair, the Grandstand will have some type of entertainment that will entertain everyone from 1-100 including a demolition derby, tractor pull and motocross.

Be sure to look for us at this year's Benton County Fair at the main gate entrance!
