Beaver Island Brewing Trading Beer for Diapers

Tonight you can turn diapers into beer! No its not a Christmas miracle, it's an event that is part of the 2nd annual "Operation Baby New Year". Beaver Island Brewing Company in downtown St. Cloud is hosting "Pints For Pampers" from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. If you bring in a box of diapers you'll receive a free pint of beer.

Operation Baby New Year is hoping to collect at least 200,000 diapers in December. That's double what they collected last year.

They had collected nearly 40,000 diapers as of last Friday, so they still have about 160,000 to go by the first of the year.

If you can't make it to tonight's event, but you want to donate a box of diapers, they do have several drop off locations around the area.
