This time of year is always my favorite, because once it begins to turn into winter, my father and I head up north for some Minnesota deer hunting! Sadly, this year we did not take home a buck, but we got amazing videos of some beautiful deer from Littlefork, MN!

Over the course of the weekend, I got to take a few days off and enjoy my yearly tradition of hunting with my dad up in Littlefork, Minnesota. This town is just shy of International Falls, so we are literally a stone's throw away from Canada. This year, neither of us brought home a rack, but we did get amazing footage of deer that paid us a visit! Check out the fork that busted my dad on Saturday (11.5) morning! (I just LOVE the breath coming off of him!)

Then, on my last morning hunting, I got a video of a beautiful doe and her fawn. Make sure you watch the little one running up the hill!

Honestly, the weather got up to 72 degrees this past weekend for the 2016 Rifle Opener, and it was absolutely amazing. Hands down best weather we've ever had that far north for the opener! Hopefully you got to take home a nice trophy this past weekend, or will have more time to get one! If you did/do, make sure you sign up for the 98.1 Trophy Game Hall of Fame!
