NOVEMBER IS NANOWRIMO MONTH

November is National Novel Writing Month. Every November, thousands of Novelists around the world set out to complete a 50,000 word novel in 30 days.  All of the area libraries know about this event if you want more information. Otherwise, you can go to https://nanowrimo.org/ to learn more. This website is filled with resources like an online progress tracker, and online community to share thoughts with and ask questions.  It's a great place to find motivation and support from other writers...whether you are a beginner or an advanced writer.

WHAT IF I'M A WRITER, BUT NOT A NOVELIST?

You don't necessarily have to use the time to write a novel. You can use the time to write whatever it is your little heart desires.

Last year, more than 58,000 writers accomplished this goal.

Along with our Great River Regional Library system, there are 2,000 libraries that offer the program.

JOIN IN THE FUN

You can be a part of the program.  You can write at home, or you can come to the NaNoWriMo events that are happening all around central Minnesota.
