ST. CLOUD – The haunting sounds of ringing bells reverberated throughout the middle of St. Cloud this afternoon.

Dozens of people paid homage to the nearly 3,000 live lost on September 11, 2001 at the September 11th Community Commemoration, held at the St. Cloud Police Station.

St. Cloud mayor Dave Kleis welcomed and thanked police officers, fire fighters and members of the armed forces for their service.

The ceremony included a wreath laying ceremony, prayer led by local clergy, musical performances, and a rifle salute.

WJON was on hand for the heart-rendering ceremony. Here are some highlights.
