Nearly two million more vehicles are being recalled due to Takata air bags that could explode and injure or kill drivers.

This latest recall involving Takata air bags involves vehicles from Subaru, Tesla, BMW, Mercedes, Ferrari, and Daimler.

At least 23 people have died from the problem worldwide and hundreds more have been injured. About 10 million vehicles are being recalled in the U.S. this year because of affected air bags, with as many as 70 million to be recalled by the time the whole thing ends next year.

You can check to see if your vehicles have been recalled by going to https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls and keying your 17-digit vehicle identification number (VIN). I checked my Subaru, and it's not included in the recall.

Ford, Honda, Toyota, and Fiat Chrysler already released their 2019 Takata recalls totaling more than 5 million additional vehicles.
